A place for you to hang out

Posted by attiev on 7 July 2010

Hi guys!

I was inspired by FS Photography when I saw his post. So, last week Friday morning, my husband and I went out to hunt for a spot where I could photograph and later add sunbeams in my final image.

So my husband drove while I was scouting the area and I found this nice cozy spot. Looks like a nice place for people to hang out and enjoy a barbecue. It was already after 9 ’0′clock in the morning, and this area was just well lit by the rising sun.

Below is the vertical view of the opposite side. You get to see the small barbecue area.

I did not take a lot of shots that morning. I would love to explore more of that beach but we had limited time to spend there.

I would like to say thanks to Brian for helping me out with the sun rays. That tutorial is so cool Brian! ;)

  1. It’s great to play around with stuff like this isn’t it… Nicely done Attiev… Love the second one as it’s perfect for this technique.. One suggestion I would make though would be to make the location of your pseudo sun much much brighter, to add to the realism of the sun streaming through the trees… :)

:) Thanks Brian, I took your suggestion and I posted the edited version at my flickr photostream. Let me know what do you think of it.
